Juicy grilled chicken tossed in creamy spicy sauce, ready in 30 minutes.

# What You Need:

→ Chicken

01 - 1.3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1 inch cubes
02 - 2 tbsp vegetable oil
03 - 1 tsp garlic powder
04 - 1 tsp soy sauce (gluten-free if needed)
05 - ½ tsp ground black pepper
06 - ½ tsp salt

→ Bang Bang Sauce

07 - ⅓ cup mayonnaise
08 - 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
09 - 1 tbsp sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
10 - 1 tbsp honey
11 - 1 tsp rice vinegar

→ Garnishes

12 - 1 tbsp sesame seeds
13 - 2 scallions, thinly sliced
14 - Fresh cilantro leaves (optional)

# Directions:

01 - In a bowl, toss chicken cubes with vegetable oil, garlic powder, soy sauce, black pepper, and salt. Marinate for at least 10 minutes or up to 2 hours refrigerated.
02 - Thread marinated chicken pieces onto skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes to prevent burning.
03 - Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
04 - Grill chicken skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
05 - While the chicken cooks, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and rice vinegar in a bowl to make Bang Bang sauce.
06 - Once cooked, transfer the skewers to a plate. Brush liberally with Bang Bang sauce or drizzle over the top.
07 - Sprinkle with sesame seeds, scallions, and cilantro if using. Serve immediately.

# Insider Tips:

01 -
  • The sauce creates this addictive sweet heat that keeps everyone coming back for seconds
  • Everything comes together in under 30 minutes but tastes like you spent all day on it
02 -
  • Soak wooden skewers for at least 20 minutes or they will burn on the grill
  • The sauce thickens as it sits, so add a teaspoon of water if needed before serving
03 -
  • Double the sauce recipe and keep the extra in the fridge for salads, sandwiches, or fries
  • If the skewers slide around, use two parallel sticks for each piece of chicken
