# Insider Tips:

01 -
  • The dough comes together in minutes but tastes like it took all afternoon
  • These cookies manage to feel fancy enough for company while staying simple enough for a Tuesday
02 -
  • Press the chocolate kisses in gently but firmly—if they sink too deep the cookie may crack around the edges
  • These cookies continue to firm up as they cool so removing them while centers still look slightly underbaked is essential
03 -
  • Chill the dough for 15 minutes if it feels too soft to handle which prevents the cookies from spreading too much
  • Rotate the baking sheets halfway through baking so all cookies brown evenly
