# Insider Tips:

01 -
  • The turmeric trick creates that gorgeous golden color without any artificial dyes
  • You can batch this for parties and feel fancy without the morning-after regrets
02 -
  • The turmeric can stain light-colored clothes, so maybe skip the bright white outfit for mixing sessions
  • Letting the syrup sit for 10 minutes lets the lemon zest infuse deeper, making it taste like it steeped for hours
03 -
  • Whisk the turmeric vigorously with a tiny splash of warm water first to avoid any gritty texture
  • The syrup keeps in the fridge for a week, but honestly it never lasts that long in my house
