Strawberry Overnight Oats (Print Version)

Creamy oats infused with fresh strawberries and chia seeds, prepared the night before for effortless mornings.

# What You Need:

→ Oats Mixture

01 - 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
02 - 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
03 - 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
04 - 1 tablespoon chia seeds
05 - 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
06 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
07 - Pinch of salt

→ Strawberries

08 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced

→ Toppings (optional)

09 - Additional sliced strawberries
10 - Chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts)
11 - Shredded coconut

# Directions:

01 - Combine oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, honey, vanilla extract, and salt in a medium bowl or large jar. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
02 - Gently fold in the diced fresh strawberries, ensuring even distribution throughout the mixture.
03 - Cover the container and refrigerate for a minimum of 6–8 hours, preferably overnight, to allow oats to soften and flavors to meld.
04 - In the morning, give the oats a thorough stir. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of milk to achieve desired consistency.
05 - Divide the overnight oats into serving bowls or jars. Top with additional sliced strawberries, chopped nuts, or shredded coconut as desired. Serve chilled.

# Insider Tips:

01 -
  • No morning cooking means you can actually enjoy your coffee while it is hot
  • The strawberries soften into this incredible jamlike sweetness that feels indulgent but is secretly wholesome
02 -
  • Steel cut oats will not work here they stay unpleasantly crunchy no matter how long they soak
  • The chia seeds continue absorbing liquid so if you are making these 3 days ahead add another splash of milk before serving
03 -
  • Use wide mouth mason jars for easier stirring and serving
  • Warm your jar slightly in the microwave for 30 seconds if you prefer hot oatmeal in winter
